The GosuCoaching Premiere League was not the best possible tournament for mousesports, as our SC2 division was not able to qualify for the playoffs of the first season. So the final game vs. US American team VT Gaming on Saturday was not more than a friendly practice session, as both teams weren't able to qualify for the playoffs anymore before the match. As a result, we've lined up our new two young talents Syck and Lomo, so they could gain some experience in team matches and on the NA realm. While Lomo had technical difficulties with his NA client, Syck did well against Future on Lost Temple, also HasuObs won his game, which grants him a perfect 5-0 record in GCPL #1, while Dreiven lost his match. Therefore Strelok went into the ace match against Pokebunny to secure a 3:2 victory over VT Gaming. Posted by: Cengiz ‘Cengiz’ Tuylu

Our German SC2 player Michael "GhosTa" Beck kicked off his season fairly well, winning 2-0 against optik in week one. For week two the challenge was much harder: Former EPS WC3 champion Daniel "XlorD" Spenst would face the mousesports player in week two. With XlorD becoming better and better with Zerg, the favorite for the matchup won convincingly over GhosTa with 2-0. After GhosTa lost, the mousesports Counter-Strike: Source team played against bomk in their week two matchup. The mousesports Counter-Strike: Source team is one of the major favorites to win the EAS and qualify for the upcoming ESL Pro Series. In yesterdays matchup they've won against bomk with a final scoreline of 16:9 news c/o Mousesports

The Millenium StarCraft 2 tournament came to an end this weekend, with MaNa beating Strelok in the semifinals. Strelok who recovered from a disease last week didn't seem to be quite in shape, as MaNa took home the victory and moved to the Grand Final to face French WarCraft 3 legend ToD, where he lost in a PvP. news c/o Mousesports Posted by: Cengiz ‘Cengiz’ Tuylu

Our Zerg player Stefan "MorroW" Andersson recently finished 2nd at Assembly Winter 2011 and on Sunday he was able to enter another Grand Final, this time in the sc2tv.ru Invite tournament. After beating the Terran players Strelok and GoOdy in the first two rounds, it was once more a Zerg player who gave MorroW a tough challenge: DIMAGA who played very well throughout the whole weekend and already won the ASUS Winter 2011 one day earlier, took one map from the Swede, who striked back to win the series 2-1 over DIMAGA. With DIMAGA fighting his way through the lower bracket against TLO, the Grand Final saw MorroW facing DIMAGA for a second time. When it came down to the deciding games, MorroW struggled again in a ZvZ, as he already lost a ZvZ Grand Final at Assembly Winter 2011 against Dutch player Ret and lost with 2-3. Overall MorroW seems more than ready for the IEM World Championship next week at CeBIT convention in Hannover, Germany; however he still need to work a bit on his ZvZ for the duels of the rivals - MorroW vs. IdrA. news c/o Mousesports Posted by: Cengiz ‘Cengiz’ Tuylu
